We are run courses in Maracatu and other
rhythms from North East Brazil.
The courses aim to develop understanding of
song and drumming and the rich cultural mix of African, Indigenous and
European influences within a clear educational framework. Stick
control, timing, drum language and lots of fun!
Tutors have extensive experience of working with baterias in Pernambuco
and the UK.
